Netflix Update #1

Dark Knight (Susannah): Only two complaints. One, too violent. I’m not a fan of violence. Second, Christian Bale while playing Batman. He sounded like our first ever constipated super hero.
Grizzly Man (Greg): Had some reservations watching this, thinking that they would lionize Timothy Treadwell. Instead, it was a very fair portrayal of someone who felt he was doing the greater good, but was probably insane.

From water polo this weekend. Apparently, the zubaz craze has finally hit Bloomington, and was immediately transferred to swimsuits:

Grizzly Man always gets me because I just remember the part with the Pirates hat and I just keep thinking how apt the metaphor is.

I’m rather late on this because I’ve been traveling, but since you liked Grizzly Man, I’ll suggest “Encounters at the End of the World”. Same director, also a documentary, but entirely different subject matter. I’ve actually just rented it, but haven’t had a chance to watch it myself. However, I’ve heard it’s good. – Walt
