Caller: “Hi, I’m ________ from the Barack Obama campaign, just reminding you that don’t forget to vote tomorrow.”
Me: “Vote? Tomorrow? Why?”
Caller: “There’s an election tomorrow.”
Me: “There is? Dear God, I watch the news and I hadn’t heard anything about it. You think the news media would try to publicize these things more. Who’s running?”

You could have also said that you didn’t think Obama was standing for office in your riding.

Or you could have claimed to be a superdelegate who would vote at the convention. Would’ve loved to hear the reaction to that.

getting rid of land line didn’t help, they got my cell. i seriously contemplated getting a new number!
