That’s a lot of chairs…
April 26th, 2008 | by mmb5 |Due to the monetization of Michigan Stadium, it is unavailable for graduation this year for Michigan’s Class of 2008. It was eventually decided to hold the event on the diag, which is the open area of the campus. However, since this is a very old university, the open space really isn’t that big. However, they claim they can cram 27,000 people on it. Here’s a Bob Uecker view on the left, and an even worse view on the right/bottom depending on your browser…

It was actually really nice. As I sat there among the trees I thought to myself “I’d rather be here than in the stadium.”
The squirrels were really weirded out though.
