CNN, we need to talk…

I’m sorry CNN, we’re through. And this isn’t a case where “it’s not you, it’s me”, no, this one is clearly you. On a moderate news day when you have the former press secretary to the President of the United States saying the latter was involved in outing a CIA agent for political purposes, or oil nearing $100 a barrel (which you at least mention), you choose as your lead story some non-event over some celebrity parent and doctor nobody had even heard of a week ago. Since you seem to have hired Mary Hart as your news director, I’ll take my business elsewhere. It’s been a fun 10 years, but I need to find someone else.
Aside: I know I have at least two CNN staffers reading this blog, I know it’s not your fault.

Can I just say that it is no fun when anybody dies (except maybe some of those Darwin Award candidates), but should the world really grind to a halt when the Mom of a mediocre rapper moves into the light?
My jaded eye as been appalled at the amount of airtime that this topic has consumed. Bleh.
