First, get to North America and then get to the southeastern corner of Michigan:
Finally, if you are approaching from:
- via I-94 or US-23 Northbound/Westbound
- If on US-23, take Exit 35 (I-94) towards Ann Arbor.
- Take Exit 177 (State Street) towards the big buildings.
- Follow State Street through campus and past William Street and North University. You will see an incredibly out-of-place eight story building being constructed. You want to turn right here (onto Washington).
- The next block is Thayer. Turn right here. The parking structure will be on the right.
- via M-14 or US-23 Southbound
- If on US-23, take Exit 45 (M-14) towards Ann Arbor (westbound).
- Take Exit 3 ('Downtown Ann Arbor') from M-14. This will be Main street.
- Follow Main to Washington (there will be a Mongolian Barbecue on the right). Turn left onto Washington.
- Pass State Street (There will be an incredibly out-of-place eight story building being constructed on the right.)
- The next block is Thayer. Turn right here. The parking structure will be on the right.
- via I-94 Eastbound
- Take Exit 172 (Jackson Road)
- Follow Jackson Road east, it will eventually turn into Huron. Turn right (Sorry, Julie) on to State Street. Turn left at the first intersection (onto Washington).
- The next block is Thayer. Turn right here. The parking structure will be on the right.
- If you're using a mapping program, the MLB does not have a true address, but "300 South Thayer" will work as an approximation.
New for 2005:
- The Broadway Bridge has finally reopened, so traffic patterns between the north part of town and the campus are back to normal.
- In August of 2003, Ann Arbor removed many of the one-way designations on the streets in the area of the Modern Languages Building, so prior memory of directions based on one-way streets may no longer be valid.
