Some pictures from the 2005 Frozen Four

This is my 6th Frozen Four, and now the 2nd to have seat issues. For the 2001 Frozen Four, my seat didn't exist. For the 2005 Frozen Four, I see the Buckeye math geniuses did the seating:

Our seats, "consecutively" numbered 11 and 18 (we really had 11 and 12). Notice the tape on 18/12 as well. It truly is "Value City".

The actual location of our seats. My first lower bowl set. Don't move me again NCAA. Ever. These are perfect.

In the rafters were banners for all of the schools that have titles. Notice the odd numbering for Minnesota's 2003 win as compared to the others. Well, during the first semifinal game, there was no "2003". Apparently somebody ran out to Kinko's between semifinal games and had that fixed.

The "Schott" is a great building, but it is first and foremost a basketball building. The scoreboard is incapbale of doing penalty minutes, so it had to be done on a side board.

Although numbering is an issue, both at the football stadium and here the scoreboard animations are very creative. Here's my favorite.

This one either was entertaining, creepy, hypnotic or some combination of the three. For some of the times prerecorded music was playing, you would get this long strip of heads randomly bopping up, left or right to the music. They had a theme, the one pictured above being rock people. They also had a "mask" one which were famous people known for masks or makeup, such as Spiderman, Superman, Star Wars characters and KISS.
